Sandruptse is home to the largest statue of Guru Padmasambhava (135 ft.) in the world, sitiuated 8 Km away from the town at an altitude of 7,000 ft. The foundatior stone was laid by His Holyness the 14th. Dalai Lama.


The garden is situated below Sandruptse. It is a recreation and picnic spot It offers magnificent view of Mt. Kanchendzonga.


"Chardham" which means worship done from all four directionsi The place is symbolized with a huge statue of Lord Shiva. The prayers made here is equal to the pilgrimage made throughout the country.


Allay Monastery was constructed during the\ reign of Chogyal (the Royal King) and is situated near Bhaichung stadium (the stadium is named after Bhaichung Bhutia, the ace footballer of India).


Above Damthang overlooking south district headquater town Namchi, there is a small flat stretch of land at an altitude of 8530 ft., surrounded by lush green ancient forest which is popularly known as Tendong Hill. The view from the top of the hill is something to be cherished and enjoyed as it spans across plains of Bengal to the majestic Mght ofthel Himalayan Ranges. One capalso proceed to Namchi by trek via Tendong Hill following the traditional route used in the old days.


Maenam Towers above Tendong Hill on the other side overlooking the Ravangla Bazaar settlement, situated at an altitude of 10,300 ft. The scenic view from the height is perhaps unmatched in this part of the world. The trek from Maenam to Ravangla takes about four hr. and from Maenam Hill one has the option to take the gentle trek to Borong Village.


18 KMsfrom Namchi, Temi Tea Garden is one of the most beautyful tea garden in Sikkim and is world famous. Tea produced here has a rare combination of liquor and flavour.


The place is often compared to the "The Great Wall of China. It is a view pj>int from where you can see the beauty of places around. It runs 1.5 KMs long with beautiful stone steps.
